1955 Caddy

This '55 Caddy ratrod belongs to Travis Post of Indy.  He drove it 2 hours from his house to my shop because the car is too wide to fit on a trailer.  The first picture shows how it looked when it arrived.

Travis wanted full air ride, and because the car is so heavy, we decided to also install fast air valves and a larger compressor.  Before bringing the car to me, Travis installed the Coker wide white L78/15 tires.  Because they are so tall, I couldn't get the front end of the car down as low as I wanted without modification to the inner wheel wells.  Since then Travis has decided to modify the inner wheel wells and also the drive shaft tunnel so we can lay the car on down.
